What is the Human Kind store?

The Human Kind store has been created by the WHO Foundation to unite the world in support for the health of Ukraine. The Foundation has partnered with iconic artists, musicians, and athletes from Ukraine and around the world, to donate exclusive personal items that will raise money for the health and wellbeing of those affected by the war.

What is the WHO Foundation?

The WHO Foundation is an independent grant-making entity, based in Geneva, Switzerland. Affiliated to but independent of World Health Organization (WHO), the Foundation supports WHO’s efforts to address the pressing health challenges of today and tomorrow. The Foundation strengthens WHO’s efforts by creating investment opportunities to help to fund WHO’s essential work around the world, while ensuring WHO’s neutrality and independence.  To do so, the Foundation engages directly with donors, including private philanthropists and businesses and launches innovative initiatives which offer individuals a unique opportunity to support fair and equitable access to health for all. For more information on the WHO Foundation, see:

What is your merchandise made from?

We use organic cotton in all our merchandise. This leads to a reduction in soil erosion, less acidification of land and water, and has less impact on global warming. All of our merchandise is 100% GOTs, Oeko Tex and PETA vegan certified, and we are proudly plastic free in our operations of merchandise production and fulfilment.

Where is your merchandise made?

The cotton used in our merch is from farms in India. The ginning and spinning mills are also based in India, as is the factory that knits, dyes, washes, cuts, sews and irons the merchandise. The merchandise is then screen-printed in the UK before being sent to the fulfilment centre.

The sourcing factories are all part of the Fair Wear Foundation. The Fair Wear Foundation is an independent organisation that works to improve labour conditions in factories.

The 8 pillars of focus of the FWF:

- No exploitation of child labour

- No discrimination in employment

- A legally binding employment relationship

- Payment of a living wage

- Reasonable hours of work

- Safe and healthy work conditions

How should I care for my item?

To extend the life of your Human Kind t-shirt and reduce its environmental footprint, please ensure you wash it inside out at 30ºC/86ºF. Refer to the care label for detailed instructions. Please donate or gift your items if you are no longer able to wear them.

Our recycled Human Kind t-shirts have varying care instruction so please refer to the care label inside your garment for detailed care instructions.

Can I return/exchange an item?

Regrettably, due to our supplier costs and the way our systems work, products which are returned or exchanged will not result in a charitable donation. We understand that in some cases returns and exchanges are unavoidable, but we request that you please only do so if your purchase is not wearable or giftable.

Please note that Human Kind t-shirts are non-refundable. If you cannot wear you t-shirt please gift it to a friend who will love it just as much as you do.

To return an item, please email us at with your order number and reason for return. We will then provide further instructions.

When will I receive my order?

We aim to handle orders quickly and efficiently; however, some orders may take longer than this to process. Orders cannot be processed on Saturdays, Sundays and UK Bank Holidays.

Due to the situation in Ukraine and the current surge in online shopping, orders may take slightly longer to arrive to you but please be assured that it is being processed. 

What if I am not home when they deliver?

We recommend you use a delivery address where there will be someone to receive and sign for the delivery. For many of our customers this may be a work address. However, if you are out, the usual procedure is for the delivery service to leave a “We Stopped By” card (or similar). You can then collect from a depot or re-arrange delivery for a time that suits you.

We do not accept liability for any delivery instructions issued to the delivery company by the customer. If you leave instructions requesting a parcel to be left in a different location you deem as a “safe place” such as in the shed, garage or with a neighbour, we cannot accept responsibility if you fail to receive your parcel.

Where is my delivery?

You can track your order using the tracking number and the link on your dispatch confirmation email.

I have placed my order, can I add more items?

Unfortunately, we’re not able to edit orders once they are placed. You will have to place a new order.

Can I cancel my order?

Unfortunately, we can only cancel orders that have not already been dispatched. Please email as soon as possible with your order number to cancel your order. We will do our best to help.

Can I change my delivery details?

Sadly, we’re not able to change your delivery details once the order has been dispatched. Please email to enquire about changing your delivery details and we will be able to assist you if your order has not already been dispatched.

What method of payment can I use?

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Items are charged at point of order.

What is our approach to packaging?

We are trying to make sure our packaging is as sustainable and environmentally friendly as it can be but we always appreciate feedback on how we can improve.
